i would like to propose to ''orchestrate'' the whole evening/night like a zeramulix, which, as we all know, is a very complex organism, with a lot of different overlapping layers, breathing growing flowing shaping changing...

so suggestion to realize this is, besides different separated contributions and besides different models of webcastcollaborations, some common 'structure' to which 'we' all contribute.

not as something big or conspicuous in its appearance,i imagine it in a very reduced and pointed and unobstrusive way

the model is based on some basic structure: the recognition of certain elements.
it is realized by the means of certain 'tools' (redefinition): similarity/resemblance, repetition

i will try to develop now some description of possibility to fill the structure i'm talking about, please understand it as an example to visualize some image behind, not as 'form' as 'form'...

so the first image starts with an instrument we all have and use everyday: the voice, and in a mode we also all use ( at least nearly every day :) : the spoken language.
imagine* a kind of ongoing fragmented 'story'.
this might be a wellknown 'cultural value', let's take 'jonas in the stomach of the wale' for example..):

- either somebody overtakes the role to switch into the broadcast from time to time with a fragment - an association/an interpretation/a translation ( we have a pool of a lot of different languages )/...
- or whoeverwhenever decides to do so, goes on with ( this is what i propose ). this sounds simple but to do it seriously it needs a lot of concentration, which we maybe will not have there in the situation in linz like marko already explained some mails ago... ( of course, the model includes all stations...)

and - of course it's always dependent on synchronisation with the technician-musician at the mixing-desk

i dont think of effects here, more of 'pure data' and human voices, and i think of it basically on a quite abstract level, the content ( of the code ) mainly formed out of the addition of those sometimes in 'standalone-mode' even absurd elements, thrown in from time to time, which in the addition of it's fragmentations then become something different, dependent on the participants...a lot of it will not be 'understandable' for different people, and different people will 'understand' different parts...

so for me it's about two main layers:
- the question of codes and meanings of codes ( as i said, on a quite abstract level )
- the topology of the 'event' in time and nowherewebspace related to its topology in 'realphysical life'


first extension:
and at certain points it could accumulate to a quite dense structure only out of voices, sometimes 'only' analogue, partly taken out of samples made in some former moments...

second extension:
so another point which comes out here is the archiving and ( more or less ) direct use and morphing of the archive, archived again, morphed again, repetition and requotation, which i would like to propose as some ongoing activity and one possible red line beneath others for the evening.

so again here in is the image of locating and dislocating in time and space and the nowhere of the web**...

and: it's something very different than the loops, it's about concious choice of few certain moments certain 'informations' and the development of a kind of common 'vocabulary' during the evening.
it's about feedbacking the feedbackers in opposite to resampling the streams.
it's about one possible decision NOT to let the structure and the web-immanent 'preferences' of those casts rule the activities by themselves.


and please dont misunderstand these proposals in a direction that always all is mixed - it's more the opposite i would like to propose - very reduced but pointed use of this 'tool', in a way to try to synchronize in within the time of the evening agreeing on and working out some 'codes', defined and redifined by the context they are taken out and they are introduced in.

this also requires a nearly permanent work and exchange of all of the stations, not focused on the event in linz or the fm'ming :) in ljubljana or a'dam or wherever in that moment or not, and it makes perceivable in time the presence ( in sense of active presence ) of all the stations in all the places, which is, as i experienced it quite often, not given in a lot of those situations, except of the so-much-loved loops and very fast switching inbetween all the stations within the network.
and the second one of course is a joy we should for sure not miss inbetween..:)))) - i would propose it as some kind of 'chaos-block', title maybe INPHOTHROBIA ?? :))


well, to finish here for now:

it's something very basic i propose here, i know, and it will not add anything to the already wellknown approaches.
but maybe it can give something like a bit special atmosphere or character to this piece of location-in-time-and-mind we are preparing to shape ...
